I am pleased to have participated in the International Conference on International University Mobility: Challenges, Opportunities and Perspectives of Academic Cooperation, held on April 10, 2026, at the Faculty of Education Sciences (FSE), Mohammed V University in Rabat .
On this occasion, I had the honor, as Head of International Relations at the Faculty of Education Sciences, to present the internationalization strategy of the FSE (Horizon 2026–2030), with a particular focus on the development of international academic mobility.
My presentation highlighted the central role of mobility as a strategic pillar for strengthening international cooperation, enhancing academic quality, and increasing institutional visibility. As emphasized, international mobility is not only a mechanism for academic exchange, but also a powerful lever for the circulation of knowledge, skills development, and integration into global academic networks .
The strategy of the FSE aims to promote both student and faculty mobility, through structured partnerships with leading international universities, participation in global programs (such as Erasmus+, Fulbright, DAAD…), and the development of joint degrees, cotutelle PhD programs, and collaborative research projects.
This approach contributes to:
– Improving teaching and learning practices in line with international standards
– Strengthening research capacity and scientific production
– Enhancing the employability and intercultural competencies of students
– Increasing the international visibility and attractiveness of the institution
Through this dynamic, the FSE aspires to position itself as a leading African hub in education sciences, committed to innovation, academic excellence, and international openness.
