I carried out a mission to discover the Turkish higher education system. I visited the two prestigious public universities located in Istanbul: Marmara University (Faculty of Educational Sciences) and Istanbul University (Faculty of Economic and Social Sciences). I would like to thank His Excellency Mr. Mustafa İlker Kılıç, Ambassador of Turkey to Morocco for his support in the organization of my mission. My thanks also go to Mr. Reha Ermumcu from the Turkish Cultural Center in Rabat who put me in contact with Professors Yusuf Alpaydin, and Saban Berk from the Faculty of Educational Sciences (Marmara University), and Professor Ahmed Koruglo from the department of international relations at Istanbul University. The discussions with these colleagues promise a great academic and scientific collaboration.
